Tiny Warrior: The Story Of OceanClan's Streamrain.
I Am Streampaw! RiverClan Apprentice!
----------------------------------
Two cats were in a conversation, inside a rocky den.
So..where did you find them agian?
I found them in the middle of the forest!!! I really think we should tend to them! I am a medicine cat after all!
But do you even know where they came from? They may look harmless, and weak, but who knows! You said they don't have any scent from any of the other Clans around here. They may be a loner or rogue's kits! Or possibly spying for BloodClan. Maybe a kittypet's kits...
But I smelled the scent of other's cats on the older one's pelt!!!!
I've heard rumors that some kittypets can live in many clan-like groups, due to they're twolegs getting more cats. They're just confined to they're twoleg's dens though.
I....I...
Oh, that's one of the kits I found! You're looking better!
What is it child?
I....I...did come from a Clan...
Which!!? You don't smell of ThunderClan, WindClan or ShadowClan...
Yes. She is right. StarClan told cats of many generations ago that there was four Clans in the forest.
Yes..the FOREST. I come from the shores of the beach.
You mean....sundrown place?
Yes. Streamkit of OceanClan.
-----------------------------------
"Let all cats that can catch they're own prey join here beneath the river's edge for a Clan meeting!" yowled a longhaired, elderly lightly gray-pelted she-cat. Her fur lit up in the falling sun's light. Her name was Moonstar. She led RiverClan.
Moonstar pounced up a rock, that was perfect for her old joints to hop up upon. The ginger she cat stood next to the rock, with the two black kits, huddled upon her side, watching RiverClan's awkward looks towards them once they came, one by one.
"Our medicine cat, Goldenblossom..."
In her naive nature, Goldenblossom bowed her head, while her Clan just gave her looks.
"As I was saying. Goldenblossom says to have found two kits from another Clan..-"Moonstar meowed, but her Clan questioned her.
"Were they from ShadowClan?"
"I bet they were ThunderClan's!"
"Does WindClan have anything to do with the forest's kits...?"
"Silence!" Moonstar yowled.
"They have said to come from another Clan, nearby the sundrown place."
The cats meowed in awe, some in dissaproval. They all believed StarClan has proved four Clans existed.
Goldenblossom spat like a kit at all the dissaproving cats. "Hey! They're just kits!" "Stop that right now!"
The youngest kit, hid behind her sister.
"I may be breaking Warrior-code, and StarClan may punish me for this, but I think it may be okay to enter these kits into RiverClan. Plus one is old enough to be an apprentice, for she is already seven moons old, as she has said! She also has told me her story, a pretty brutal one..." Moonstar meowed.
Some cats, mostly the two queens meowed in woe that the two were lost for a month, and had no memory of it. One was even tearing-up.
Moonstar stared at Streamkit, the older one.
"I will welcome these kits, Streamkit and her younger sister, Rainbowkit to RiverClan, as RiverClan-loyal cats. Rainbowkit, perked her ears when hearing her name.
"Streamkit, also will be a RiverClan apprentice.
I call upon my Warrior anscetors to look upon this kit. She wants to become a warrior, but needs training. Streamkit, you will be known as Streampaw. Since you have come from another clan, who fortunetly, told me that you're warrior code was just like ours, I will make you our apprentice. You must be observed first, before a mentor will be assigned for you."
RiverClan stared at they're leader, like an omen was about to come to them, since she didn't follow the ideal apprentice ceremony, the way it was made to be and followed, just like they're anscestors before them.
--------------------------------------------------------
Streampaw stepped shyly into the apprentice's den, which was a tall tree with a mousehole-like hole at the trunk, like most dens in the Clan these days. Trees grew over time.
The apprentices, that looked mostly about her age stopped minding they're business, when she took one paw-step in.
Streampaw looked ashamed. "Uhhh..."
"You don't belong here other clanner!"
"Go back to you're 'ocean'!"
"Yeahhh! Whatever that is!"
Streampaw felt hurt, since they didn't hear her background story. She was about to cry, until one cat that couldn't help but stare at her since she stepped in looked at her solemnly.
He stood up and hissed.
"Yeah, teach 'er Fangpaw!"
Instead this brown tabby tom, with a white flank, and all four paws, covered in light white meowed something else.
"What happened! Can't you see she's having a hard time already!? If she doesn't wanna tell us what happened to her, I would understand! Why not you!??!"
One other cat, another young tabby tom, but dark brown all over also spoke.
"Fangpaw is right on this one."
"Thanks Sunpaw!"
"No problem, friend."
"Fangpaw..what's wrong? You'd usually talk back, and prank newcomers, even us! But with her.." a few she-cat apprentices mewed.
Fangpaw shook his head. "Come in!"
Streampaw hesitated, but with ease, slowly pawed in.
The other appretices scowled.
"Ignore them!" Fangpaw said.
"You can sleep with us." Sunpaw meowed.
"Uhhh..uhh..okay..." miaowed Streampaw.
As the stars started to appear at the sky, Streampaw looked at one, at the brink of crying. Fangpaw slid his tail around her face, very nervously.
"You'll be okay."
Streampaw took one earnest look at him, sat at the farthest of the tree and fell asleep.
